This week’s Diva challenge (#305) used Molygon and Marasu, two official tangles from Zentangle HQ.
It’s been a long week and I’m hoping to find some rest and rejuvenation this weekend. All the best to you all.

Yesterday, February 19, marked a new year in the Chinese calendar. It’s the year of the Goat/Sheep/Ram!
The animal of this year is up for debate. In Mandarin, yang is the word for the animal of this year, and how it’s translated varies, depending on context. According to NPR’s interesting article about the new year, in Vietnamese, it’s a sheep. In Thailand (and this was my favorite because of the specificity): the year of the female wood sheep. I love language.
So, the Diva Challenge this week was to incorporate some sort of goat-like element. Therefore, I present to you GOAT! Or is it a ram? Whatever it is, I drew a simple head to use as my string. I filled it with Printemps (SPRING!), Marasu, Yin cut and a lone Crescent Moon for the nose.
