Hello my friends in Zentangle! I hope all has been well in all your corners of the world. I have been a busy bee and continue to be!
I took a day and went apple picking! Living in New England, it’s something that I’m surprised I’ve only done twice in my life! This was a special day, on my own, wandering through the apple trees.
I got a little bit of a sunburn. It was beautiful out. I picked macintosh and cortland apples that filled a bag.
I made applesauce, an apple cake and dried apples with the harvest. Totally satisfying!!
I also recently taught a class to a great group of individuals at a lawyer’s office in North Central Mass. They did a great job! They will be working on more tiles separately to create a collage wall hanging for their office. I was so honored to share Zentangle with them!
I also lead a group in an approach to Zentangle blended with a journaling type of self inquiry that I’m working on ….more to come with that!
AND, my big excitement is that my husband and I are going to Europe a week from tomorrow! More joy and news to come there. I will be seeing some wonderful Zentangle friends!
Here are the challenges I’ve been doing:
Guest poster Charlotte Carpentier, CZT, challenged us to use color as strings! I used Dyelusions ink sprays to create these two.
Square One: Purely Zentangle
This is a group on Facebook that is great for true, traditional Zentangle practice. The tangle of last week was Jalouise!
How exciting it was to see that my dear friend and sister Zentangle teacher, Bea Winkler, had her new tangle, Tri-Bee, featured as the Diva’s challenge this week! I love Tri-Bee!
