Challenges — Diva & Tackle It Tuesday
Howdy!
I’m lumping in all my tiles I did for challenges in the last couple weeks.
First, here’s Diva’s challenge #175, to use the tangle Crux by Henrike Bratz.
Tangles: Crux, Bales, Bunzo, Poke Leaf |
I’d highly suggest reading Diva Laura’s blog post (and here’s that link again so you don’t have to scroll up!) that accompanied the challenge, since she talked about her first day of her trip to Providence to join us at the CZT training at the end of June! The photos of the hotel (ok, so they’re not hers, but just for you to see the beautiful place that was our home for a few days!) and her story are fab.
Tackle It Tuesday
The other challenge that’s one of my faves is Tackle It Tuesday by Cheryl. She’s been challenging readers to do a Zentangle tile using only tangles whose names start with the same letter of the alphabet.
I forgot to post my Q tile last week!
Tangles: Quandary, Quare, Queen’s Crown, Quib |
Anddddd, “R” — featuring a new little product that the Zentangle company will be announcing to the public soon — but I can tell ya it’s pretty cool and sweet! We got a preview at the training.
Tangles: Rixty, Rain, Raddox |
Speaking of that same product, here’s another random tile I did with it.
It’s not JUST a product either — there’s a new “character” that is appearing soon that embodies all that the Zentangle method is about: slowing down, focusing, having fun.
More on THAT soon. 🙂
Tangles: Gryst, Twenty One |
